B&T offers adapters for many threads. This offers the advantage that you can use your B&T suppressor on rifles of the same or a smaller caliber with different muzzle threads. For example if you want to swap you suppressor from a .308 with M14 thread to a .30-06 with a 5/8-24 UNEF thread you just need to buy an inexpensive adapter and not a second suppressor.
