The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We, B&T AG with registered office in Thun, Switzerland (hereinafter referred to as “B&T”), therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions of the Swiss Data Protection Act and the EU Basic Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “DSGVO”). Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do no harm.
We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit us.
If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.
If you disable cookies, the functionality of our website will be limited, including the use of the webshop shopping cart and webshop user account will no longer be possible.
Data storage
We would like to point out that for the purpose of an easier shopping process and for the later contract processing we guarantee the allocation of the shopping cart as well as the personal user account by means of cookies. For sales law reasons, we may only supply customers from Switzerland and Liechtenstein via the web shop, which is why only one delivery address from Switzerland or Liechtenstein can be specified when creating the user account. In the user account we store your name, your address, your e-mail address, your telephone numbers, your language of correspondence, your delivery addresses as well as your webshop orders placed so far for the purpose of order processing, traceability, tracking and tracing and to support you in the event of any warranty claims for products sold by us that may arise later.
The data provided by you is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without the data we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data will not be transferred to third parties, with the exception of
- the transmission of the order reference and the total amount to SIX Payment Services Ltd for the purpose of payment processing
- the transport company for the delivery of the goods
- the content delivery network provider Cloudflare Inc. (Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, hereinafter “Cloudflare”), which hosts our website and can inspect the data traffic for the faultless performance of this service
- the trustee, the business consultant as well as the tax authorities for the fulfilment of the business accounting obligation according to Swiss law
- a possible support employee of the IT service provider in case of technical problems
We have concluded a corresponding contract for order processing with SIX Payment Services Ltd. There are corresponding confidentiality agreements with the trustee, the management consultant and the IT service provider. With Cloudflare, we have concluded a contract for commissioned data processing (Data Processing Addendum).
After cancellation of the purchase process the data will be deleted after 30 days at the latest. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the legal retention period under Swiss law expires.
Web analysis
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics from Google Inc (represented by Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter “Google”). Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by its users. The information thus generated is transferred to the provider’s server and stored there. Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymised by deleting the last 8 bits. This means that only a rough localization is possible. You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored.
We have concluded a corresponding contract with Google for commissioned data processing.
Data processing is based on the legal provisions of Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO.
Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised.
The user data is stored for a period of 26 months.
